Put on your tee. Ready, get set, go.
Sounds like a race?
What if we took the elements of focus and some goal,
then place it with a start to finish?
Let's say,
a passion, a desire or a hunger is the source.
As you take off,
the distance to a far-end draws close.
It does feel like a rounded track sometimes,
passing by old views which question your steps taken and the direction you took.
Am I done yet?
Have I reached?
Is this the second round?
It's all in how you choose to experience the journey.
What if the start has always been in those consecutive steps you are taking,
and not actually a fixed mark you were conditioned to believe?
You have reclaimed that race as yours.
Now,
un-see the race to just an activity of a run,
or even, just an expression.
How do you feel?
How are you responding to seeing the same view twice?
